Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup shredded reduced-fat cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 whole wheat tortillas
  • 4 small tostada shells
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onions until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Stir in mustard, ketchup, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  3. Lay out a whole wheat tortilla, place a tostada shell in the center, and add a portion of the beef mixture.
  4. Top with shredded lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese.
  5. Fold the tortilla edges over the center, sealing it into a wrap.
  6. Lightly coat a pan with cooking spray and cook the wrap seam-side down until crispy, then flip and cook the other side.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!
