Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon (for coating)
  • 2 tbsp melted butter (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a muffin tin.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and melted butter.
  4. Gradually combine wet and dry ingredients, stirring until just mixed.
  5. Divide batter evenly into the muffin tin and bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown.
  6. While warm, brush muffins with melted butter and roll them in cinnamon sugar.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!
