Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in pork chops, about 1 inch thick
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Pat pork chops dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Place pork chops in the skillet and sear for 4–5 minutes per side, until golden brown.
  4. Reduce heat to medium. Add butter, garlic, rosemary, and thyme to the skillet.
  5. Tilt the pan slightly and spoon the melted butter and herbs over the pork chops.
  6. Cook for another 2–3 minutes until pork chops reach 145°F internal temperature.
  7. Remove from skillet and let rest for 5 minutes. Serve with lemon wedges.
