  • 2 large chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh parsley or green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Slice the chicken breasts horizontally to create four thinner cutlets.
  2. Season both sides of the chicken with salt and pepper.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  5. Add chicken cutlets to the skillet and sear for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
  6. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the chicken and reduce heat to low.
  7. Simmer for 3–4 minutes, basting the chicken with the sauce until it thickens slightly.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley or green onions and serve hot.
