Ingredients

  • 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 ¼ tsp instant yeast
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add flour, salt, melted butter, and egg. Knead for 8-10 minutes until a smooth dough forms.
  3. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  4. In a small bowl, mix minced garlic, chopped parsley, and Parmesan cheese.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread the garlic mixture evenly over it.
  6. Roll the dough into a log and slice it into 12 equal pieces.
  7. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  8. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  9. Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Brush with extra melted butter and serve warm.
