Frozen Mango Margarita – Morning Drinks Healthy Easy Recipes

If I had to pick just one drink that reminds me of summer vacations and sunburned shoulders, it’d be this frozen mango margarita. We’re talking about a smooth, icy blend of ripe mangoes, a cheeky splash of tequila, and just enough lime to keep your taste buds dancing. It's like the tropics in a glass—but without the sand in your swimsuit. I love how easily this drink comes together. You toss a few ingredients into a blender, and boom—you're sipping sunshine. Plus, it gives you an excuse to whip out that bottle of tequila that's been loitering in your cabinet. Don’t have a cocktail umbrella? No worries. I once served mine in a mason jar with a sprig of mint and felt like a backyard bartender extraordinaire. So whether you’re hosting a barbecue, watching the sunset from your balcony, or just dodging emails on a Tuesday, this mango margarita has your back. Let’s blend up something fun, shall we?

  • 1½ cups frozen mango chunks
  • ½ cup tequila
  • ¼ cup orange liqueur (like Cointreau or Triple Sec)
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup (optional)
  • 1 cup ice
  • Lime wedges and salt (for rimming the glass)

  2. In a blender, combine the frozen mango, tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, and honey.
  3. Add the ice and blend until smooth and slushy.
  4. Taste and adjust: want it sweeter? Add a bit more honey. More tangy? Squeeze in more lime.
  5. Pour into the prepared glasses and serve immediately, preferably with sunshine and good company.
