Ingredients

  • 8 slices of bread, crusts removed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Maple syrup for serving
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup diced strawberries

Instructions

  1. Flatten the bread slices using a rolling pin.
  2. Spread cream cheese evenly on each slice of bread.
  3. Add diced strawberries on top of the cream cheese and roll up each slice tightly.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, cinnamon, and vanilla extract.
  5. Dip each roll-up into the egg mixture, ensuring it is fully coated.
  6. Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt butter.
  7. Cook the roll-ups, turning occasionally, until golden brown on all sides.
  8. In a separate dish, mix sugar and cinnamon.
  9. Roll the cooked roll-ups in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  10. Serve warm with maple syrup.
