Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles.
Place one breakfast sausage on the wide end of each triangle and roll it up toward the narrow end.
Arrange the wrapped sausages on the prepared baking sheet, seam-side down.
Brush the tops with melted butter for a golden finish.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve warm with maple syrup or honey if desired.
