If you like extra flavor, quickly brown the pork chops in a skillet with olive oil before adding them to the crock pot.
Place pork chops in the crock pot.
In a bowl, whisk together cream of mushroom soup, onion soup mix, chicken broth, garlic powder, and black pepper.
Pour mixture over the pork chops.
Cover and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours, or on high for 3 to 4 hours, until pork chops are tender.
Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or vegetables and spoon that gravy generously over the top.
