Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a small loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
Pour in the milk and oil. Stir with a wooden spoon or spatula until just combined. Don’t overmix.
Scoop the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth out the top.
Bake for about 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before turning it out onto a wire rack to cool completely—or eat it warm with butter, because why not?
