  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups crushed Ritz crackers
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Crush the Ritz crackers into fine crumbs and mix them with shredded cheddar cheese, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  3. Dip each chicken breast into sour cream, ensuring it's well-coated.
  4. Roll the coated chicken in the cheddar-cracker mixture, pressing gently so it sticks.
  5. Place the coated chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.
  6. Drizzle melted butter evenly over the chicken.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F).
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
