Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess grease.
Add diced onions and minced garlic to the skillet, cooking until softened.
Season the beef mixture with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Stir well.
Remove from heat and mix in shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
Unroll the crescent dough and cut it into triangles.
Spoon the beef mixture onto the wide end of each crescent triangle and roll tightly.
Place rolls onto the prepared baking sheet, brush with beaten egg, and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
Brush the warm rolls with melted butter before serving.
