Cheeseburger Bowls – Easy Recipes with Ground Beef Everyone Loves

Ever looked at a cheeseburger and thought, “You’d be even better without the bun?” Well, you’re not alone. These cheeseburger bowls pack all the juicy, savory goodness of a classic burger—but in a bowl. No soggy buns. Just fresh lettuce, warm beef, crispy pickles, and a drizzle of that tangy sauce that makes you wanna lick the spoon. 🍔🥗 We’ve been making these on repeat at my place, especially when I’m short on time but still want something that feels like real food. Plus, it’s surprisingly low on the carb count, so if you’re in a keto-ish phase (like I pretend to be every Monday), you’re covered. 😉 And hey, if you’re into air fryers, sweet sides, or even homemade pretzel croutons (yes, it’s a thing), this bowl plays well with others. It’s dinner without the dinner drama. Let’s make it.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 4 cups chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup pickles, sliced
  • 1/4 cup diced red onions
  • 1/4 cup burger sauce or dressing of choice

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add ground beef and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  3. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 7–8 minutes. Break up the meat with a spatula as it cooks.
  4. While the beef cooks, prep your bowls: divide the lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, pickles, and onions among 4 bowls.
  5. Top each with the hot cooked beef.
  6. Drizzle with burger sauce and serve immediately—preferably with a napkin, things get deliciously messy.
